Austrian machines in the USA

Fill USA, Inc., based in Plymouth, Michigan, is further expanding its commitment to the North American market. Three years after its foundation, the subsidiary of the Austrian machine engineering company is embarking on a sales offensive. US mechanical engineering and automation expert Nolan Strall joined the team in September 2024. From 2025, two service technicians from Austria will also move to the US location. More are to follow in order to provide customers with even better local support.

Strategic expansion and new market opportunities

“We see great potential for our innovative technologies in North America. With our increased commitment, we want to win new customers and further expand our market position,” explains Martin Reiter, CFO of Fill and President of the US subsidiary.

The focus is on production systems and non-destructive testing systems for the aerospace industry as well as SYNCROMILL machining centers. Fill USA, Inc. acts as a central point of contact for projects from all areas of the company.
To further increase its visibility, Fill USA, Inc. has exhibited at leading US trade fairs in recent months, including the IWF International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, the CAMX Composite and Advanced Materials Expo in San Diego and the ASNT Non-Destructive Testing Conference in Las Vegas.

Major projects being implemented

In addition to the sales strategy, two major projects are currently underway in the USA: a state-of-the-art processing line for graphite electrodes and a system for aluminum plate manipulation. Assembly and commissioning will take several months, with completion scheduled for mid-2025.
