Product information

The PlasmaPlus® technology developed by Plasmatreat is used to apply nanocoatings to surfaces in addition to surface treatments such as cleaning. The plasma beam is additionally injected with a gaseous precursor tailored to the application in question, which can be used to produce an ultra-thin plasma layer to achieve the desired surface properties, e.g. corrosion protection.

The special PlasmaPlus process "AntiCorr" provides a high-performance anti-corrosion coating for housing sealings and aluminum die-cast alloys, e.g. in the automotive industry. It protects against infiltration corrosion and effectively protects electronic components from environmental damage. The process successfully passes the 960-hour salt spray test for common alloys, such as AlSi12 (FE) for automotive applications.
