Special centrifuge techniques from Lanner:
The optimal solution for drying
The German company Lanner Anlagenbau, founded more than 35 years ago, has a leading position in the world market in the field of chip processing because of its quality, competence and reliability. The product range of this company includes also three different types of centrifuges for the separation of solids and liquids:
* Batch wringer * Parabolic centrifuge * Lifiting bottom centrifuge
Batch wringers from Lanner are suitable for the manual and half-automatic de-oiling or drying of chips and grinding sludge. The basket can be elevated into the centrifuge using a lifting hook. When the drum is placed into the centrifuge an individually set centrifuging time begins to run. After completion of the centrifuging process, the drum is taken out and the process can be repeated with the next wet material. In this centrifuge it is also possible to clean and coat parts. Batch wringers are constructed for a long lasting continuous operation. The electro-magnetic lid locking, an unbalance detection switch and the standstill control provide maximum operational safety. Optional accessories are available: Adjustable drum speed, crane support with pivot arm or an electric chain host, heating, tank, transport cart for the drum or customized carrier e. g. for boxes or workpieces. Even customized models in stainless steel, EX protection or fully automated machines are available on request.
Lanner parabolic centrifuge: This type of centrifuge is made for the fully automated operation and is suitable e. g. for using directly at the central system or the tooling machine. The wet and free flowing chips enter the parabolic centrifuge through the infeed hopper and fall into the drum. The centrifugal force presses the chips at the drum wall and they move upwards onto the slot sieve. At this point the coolant is separated from the chips. The dried chips are carried over the edge of the drum and leave the centrifuge downwards into a chip cart or discharge conveyor. The regained liquid can be returned for further treatment into the machine-tool or can be pumped into a coolant-cleaning system. This economical alternative to the lifting bottom centrifuge can optionally be expanded by a locked inspection lid in the cover, heating, slot sieve cleaning or air pressure emptying.
The patented lifting bottom centrifuge from Lanner is the best choice concerning regaining maximum coolant and processing reliability. It is equipped with a lifting bottom which moves in cycles and is also suitable for very fine materials like grinding sludge because of the self-cleaning principle. In the fully automated operation the wet chips / sludge fall into the drum of the lifting bottom centrifuge. Here they meet the rotating lifting bottom and the high centrifugal forces press them at the wall. The hydraulically activated lifting bottom moves the chips / the sludge upwards to the slot sieve where the liquids are separated from the solids. After a few lifting cycles the centrifuged chips / sludge are carried over the edge of the drum and leave the centrifuge downwards. The regained coolant can be returned to the production or pumped into another system for further treatment. The lifting bottom centrifuge offers the best possible de-oiling in the universal operation.
Low maintenance costs, high reliability and highest availability stand for these types of centrifuges.
