The aim is to build a melting and dosing system consisting of
- 1x GG-TA 500MG ingot preheating and charging unit
- 1x melting furnace including ingot and sprue charging GG-SO 500MG
- 1x heated transfer tube including mechanical support and protection
- 1x dosing furnace GG-DO 200MG
- 1x magnesium pressure pump
The ingots, which run through the preheating unit, are automatically fed into the melting furnace at the end of the preheating unit.A tilting and feeding device transports the ingots into the specified melting basket and melts them away. The melting furnace is connected to the dosing furnace by a transfer tube. The dosing system feeds the melt into the filling chamber of the die casting machine with pressure. Thanks to the newly developed pump, there are no more rotating movements in the bathroom. The advantage is that there is no extreme material removal, as is currently the case with conventional pumps.This also achieves extremely high dosing accuracy regardless of the bath level!
Advantages of our system:
- Splash-free ingot and sprue charging including shock gassing (frequent opening cycle)
- Optimal and ergonomic openings in the crucible cover plate for cleaning the melt and the crucible walls
- No tilting lids in the permanent cleaning area, as these destroy the protective gas layer on the surface of the melt every time they are opened and closed. Only sliding lids are used in these areas so that there is no suction effect when opening and no pressure effect when closing.
- Crucibles are special heat-resistant Ni-free stainless steel crucibles, which have a significantly longer service life and are suitable for all types of inert gas.
Thanks to the newly developed pump, there are no more rotating movements in the bath.The advantage is that there is no extreme material erosion, as was previously the case with conventional pumps.
