The history of Fondalpress begins in 1969, when Mr. Alessandro Doglione, already founder of 'Fonderie A. Doglione' since the mid-1950s, believing in the development of high pressure die-casting, founded the company in Castell'Alfero (Italy), specializing in the production of castings of aluminum alloys. Fondalpress begins operating in 1974 and serves leading companies in the automotive sector, which still today represents the main supply sector.

Fondalpress follows customers' needs step by step by making constantly targeted investments: a mechanical processing department, increasingly sophisticated control equipment, bigger die-casting cells and always more technologically advanced melting furnaces, up to the inauguration of a second plant in Asti in the second half of the last decade, to have new spaces, offer new collaboration opportunities and optimize the activity.

The foundry in Castell'Alfero is currently provided with no. 4 melting furnaces, no. 21 HPDC- islands with machines from 600t to 2800t, while the mechanical processing in Asti is mainly provided with CNC machines. We provide a complete service, supporting customers from the idea: design, simulation, rapid-prototyping and pre-series, up to mass production.

Since the beginning Fondalpress has served not only the national market, but also foreign markets, mainly the European one, supplying mechanically processed and assembled die-casting parts to the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors: castings for gearboxes, engines, e-motors, oil and water pumps, brackets and supports, pedals etc.; to the hydraulic sector: covers, brackets and housings and to the electromechanical sector: housings, supports, brackets etc. and to others.

The attention to quality, with the achievement of certifications since the 1990s, the passion for our work and the attachment to the territory of two generations of the Doglione family, are the engine that drives a solid, reliable and dynamic company.
