ItalPresseGauss Begins a New Chapter as an Independent Company

ItalPresseGauss (IPG), a leading manufacturer of die-casting equipment and technologies, is entering a new phase as it separates from Norican Group and becomes an independent company through a management buyout (MBO). The transition follows a strategic review by Norican, aimed at streamlining its technology portfolio and redefining its organizational structure. While IPG will now operate independently, it will remain backed by Altor, the investor that has supported the company under the Norican umbrella.

As an independent entity, the company is expected to strengthen its customer focus, sharpen its innovation capabilities, and streamline internal operations.

“We are excited about this new chapter for IPG,” said Marco Gandini, CEO of ItalPresseGauss

“This move is all about being more responsive to our customers and market needs. We believe that by becoming more independent, and with a simplified organization setup, we can continue to innovate and deliver the best possible value to our stakeholders. Together with our Chairman, Peter Holm Larsen, we are extremely committed to succeed in this new challenge and opportunity, supported by a strong team of motivated professionals and young talents.”
