75 years of Sander Die Casting

75 years ago, Wilhelm Sander founded a company that today specializes in aluminium die casting. The company began next to the family-owned cowshed in Ennepetal-Homberge in the field of gravity die casting. Since 1985, the company has been located in the Ennepetal-Ölkinghausen industrial area in North Rhine-Westphalia and has continuously expanded. Today, the company employs around 80 people and has a production area of around 4000 square meters.

Sander celebrates its 75th anniversary.

Tradition and innovation in aluminum die casting

In 1994, Michael Sander took over the management of the company from his father. Under his leadership, the company was further expanded and modernized. His son joined the company around 15 years ago and is now the third generation to take over the management.

The company attaches great importance to quality, reliability and close customer relations. It invests in new machines and systems in order to modernize its machinery and has relied on automation since 2001. The mixture of tradition and innovation characterizes the family business.

Sustainable aluminum die casting

Sander focuses on complex cast and system components made from die-cast aluminum. The company can produce components with a unit weight of 2g to 2kg and accompanies all production steps - from development to the ready-to-install product.

Sustainability and environmental protection are promoted through the use of recyclable and environmentally friendly alloys, the reduction of carbon dioxide in production and the use of renewable energies to reduce energy consumption.

Retrospective and a look into the future

“Our company stands for tradition and innovation. Working together as a family has always been our top priority [...],” says Michael Sander. Son Christian Sander also knows that committed employees are the foundation of a successful company: “Without our employees, such success would not have been possible. So once again, a big thank you to the entire workforce and their tireless commitment. [...]. We look to the future with confidence and are ready to take on the challenges ahead.”
